Description
The Dodge fuel system consists of gas lines, fuel pump, the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.Dodges run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system provides and stores where it is vaporized fuel to the cylinders, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your Dodge’s gas pedal, then you control the amount of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls quantity of fuel, how much air to let in.
The fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the spark plug, producing a clean burn which powers the Dodge.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your old Dodge’s fuel filter eliminated and replaced with a new one that meets with your manufacturer’s recommendations.
